The No. 10-seeded FSU Seminoles and Coastal Carolina Chanticleers will resume their elimination game on Sunday at Dick Howser Stadium in the Tallahassee Regional. FSU leads 2-1 entering the top of the sixth inning.
The game started at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday, but two weather delays caused it to be suspended until Sunday morning. There will now be three games played on Sunday, with the regional guaranteed to end on Monday. St. John’s and Northern Illinois are scheduled to play on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET, with the loser playing the winner of FSU vs Coastal Carolina in an elimination game at 6 p.m. ET.
FSU has scored two straight runs to take the lead in the game before it was suspended. They got one run in the fourth on a double from Nathan Cmeyla, who drove in Hunter Carns after the first weather delay ended. Cal Fisher gave them the lead in the fifth with a solo home run, his third of the season.

Both teams will have limited pitching options after using their top starter on Saturday. Wes Mendes threw 4.0 innings for FSU, with Cameron Flukey throwing 3.1 innings for Coastal Carolina. FSU used Brodie Purcell for one inning after the first delay, and neither team has revealed who they will be starting on Sunday.
FSU leads the all-time series against Coastal Carolina 13-1, including 1-0 in the postseason. FSU won the first 13 meetings before Coastal beat them in the final game of the series in 2015.
