The Florida State Seminoles currently have one of the best recruiting classes in the 2027 recruiting cycle, but the work is far from done. They are heavily pursuing several players, and one of their targets is Kennedy Green, a four-star safety from Mableton, Georgia.
He recently spoke with Chad Simmons of Rivals about his recruitment and had great things to say about the program, specifically about how head coach Mike Norvell is recruiting him.

“I’ve been there three or four times,” he said. “Coach Norvell is straightforward and real about what the program is. That honesty means a lot.”
Green is ranked as the No. 201 overall player and No. 21 safety in Rivals’ industry rankings. He is also the No. 26 player from Georgia.
He was previously committed to the Mississippi State Bulldogs and is in no rush to make a second commitment.
“I’m taking my time to make the right decision now,” Green said. “I will take my visits this fall, then my official visits next year and I will probably commit around July next summer.”
He is coming off an excellent sophomore season at Douglas County, helping them go 11-3 and make the semifinals. Kennedy recorded 75 tackles, six interceptions, two pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries.
