We are diving into some fantasy football content this offseason as we look to bring in all sorts of football fans to Bucs Wire. It is arguably the most popular game that is around football, so not dipping our toes into the proverbial pool wouldn’t make sense.
What we will start with is some rookie profiles, and where they fit into the landscape of the team they were drafted by. Next up, Carolina Panthers wide receiver Chris Brazzell II.

Reason to Believe in Chris Brazzell II in 2026: Deep-threat ability
The team drafted Xavier Legette with the hope that he could be the wide receiver they needed to stretch the field. So far, he has not lived up to that billing, but it could become a role for Brazzell. In training camp, he has a chance to emerge as the team’s deep threat as they look to see what they have in Bryce Young before making a decision on his long-term future.
2026 Outlook
Brazzell could be a value in rookie drafts, but in redrafts, he is not likely to be worth a draft pick outside of deeper leagues. He could emerge as someone who is worth more of a draft capital commitment if he emerges as the team’s WR3 in training camp, but for now he remains someone to keep tabs on as you go through the offseason in your leagues.
