Florida State football will send one of the ACC’s top returning playmakers and its projected starting quarterback to next month’s ACC Kickoff.
Wide receiver Duce Robinson, quarterback Ashton Daniels, defensive back Ja’Bril Rawls and head coach Mike Norvell will represent the Seminoles at the conference’s annual preseason media event in Charlotte.
The three-day event, held at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown from July 15-17, will feature representatives from all 17 ACC football programs.
Robinson headlines FSU’s player delegation after a breakout 2025 season in which he earned first-team All-ACC and third-team All-America honors. The senior became the 11th player in program history to surpass 1,000 receiving yards in a season, finishing with 56 catches for 1,081 yards and six touchdowns.
Daniels, a redshirt senior transfer from Auburn, enters his first season at Florida State after appearing in 37 games across stops at Auburn and Stanford. The Buford, Georgia, native has accumulated 4,783 passing yards, 1,397 rushing yards and 35 total touchdowns during his collegiate career. He was named the starting quarterback after the end of spring practice.
Rawls, a Pensacola native entering his fourth year in the program, started seven games at cornerback in 2025 before a season-ending injury. He finished with 40 tackles, two tackles for loss, two pass breakups, one interception and one fumble recovery.
For his career, Rawls has recorded 58 tackles, two tackles for loss, three pass breakups, one interception and one fumble recovery.
Norvell enters his seventh season at FSU and is the ACC’s fourth-longest-tenured head coach.
FSU opens the 2026 season against New Mexico State on Aug. 29 at 7 p.m.
