Double fatality reported in Martin County morning head-on crash

Two people were killed July 27 in a head-on crash along Allapattah Road, south of Martin Highway, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office

The crash happened around 6:30 a.m., according to the Sherriff’s Office social media posts. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.

Motorists should avoid the area, while Allapatah Road remains closed.
