Does your school have a new principal? Seven Escambia County schools have new leadership

When classes start in the fall, the Escambia County School District will have two new principals, four new assistant principals and a new I.B. coordinator.

The Escambia County Public Schools School Board announced its new principal and assistant principal appointments at its June 17 board meeting. All but one of the appointments were from within inside the district.

Stephanie Gilmore, currently assistant principal at Jim Allen Elementary, is now principal of McArthur Elementary School

Joshua Jackson, currently assistant principal at Bailey Middle, is now principal of Ferry Pass Middle School

New assistant principals at Escambia County Public Schools

Brianna Cooks, currently curriculum coordinator at Jim Allen Elementary, is now assistant principal at Jim Allen Elementary School

Rodney Drish, currently employed in Alabama, is now assistant principal at Ernest Ward Middle School

La Tris Garner, currently curriculum coordinator at Navy Point Elementary, is now assistant principal at West Pensacola Elementary School

Emily Watford, currently school transformation specialist, is now assistant principal at O.J. Semmes Elementary

New I.B. coordinator at Pensacola High School

Holly Shumpert, currently curriculum resource teacher Title I, is now now I.B. coordinator at Pensacola High School
