Its annual Reader’s Choice Awards are based on nominations by the publication’s audience for best destinations, convention visitor bureaus, hotels and meeting facilities throughout the southern United States.

Online voting for the winners will continue through midnight Sunday, Oct. 5, at conventionsouth.com. The competition encompasses a diverse list of nominees representing 16 southern states and Washington, D.C.

“This recognition is a testament to our incredible team, whose dedication and hospitality go above and beyond for every guest and every event,” the Ocean Center posted along with a link to vote on its LinkedIn page.

Other Volusia-Flagler tourism nominees for the awards include the Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau; The Daytona Autograph Collection hotel at One Daytona; Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Palm Coast.

Voters can vote for multiple nominees that reflect the highest quality service, professionalism and/or amenities, according to the publication.

Top vote-getters will be recognized with a Readers’ Choice Award and highlighted in ConventionSouth’s December 2025 issue. “Best of the Best” winners will be honored in the following categories: CVBs, Convention Centers & Conference Centers, Hotels, Resorts, and Unique Venues.
