Buccaneers HC Todd Bowles earns fun label from Madden 26

The release of the next installment in the Madden franchise is right around the corner. This year’s game is boasting new features and gameplay to bring players back in. One of these features is a new franchise mode that offers more customization options than ever before.

In the new Madden video game, if you want to create your own head coach, you can. To start, though, you need a base set of skills, and the options are offensive guru, defensive genius, or development wizard. For offensive guru, the game used a picture of Andy Reid, development wizard, they show Dan Campbell, but for defensive genius, they show Bucs head coach Todd Bowles.

Bowles has been in the NFL for a long time, and regardless of your opinion of him as a head coach, his defensive coaching ability has never been questioned.

All eyes will be on the Bucs in 2025, both on offense and defense. While Todd Bowles gets the credit this year in the game, perhaps Todd Bowles will be able to extend his coaching tree out even further if the offense gets another coordinator hired at head coach to add more Bucs coaches to the game.
