‘Tis the season for new and returning flight announcements, and several airlines are refocusing efforts in Florida. Avelo Airlines is bringing four new nonstop flights from North Carolina and Puerto Rico with introductory fares starting at $49.
Flights begin in November from Fort Myers, Orlando, and Tampa to Concord, North Carolina, along with a new route between Lakeland and Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The Houston, Texas-based carrier also recently extended its flight schedule into early spring 2027.
“We’re thrilled to expand our presence at Concord with new nonstop service to Fort Myers, Orlando and Tampa—three of the most in-demand destinations for Charlotte-area travelers,” said Avelo CMO Scott DeAngelo in a June 24 release. “These new routes not only open the door to more sunny getaways but also make travel easier and more accessible for families, vacationers and business travelers alike.”
