The American Music Awards returns May 25, on Memorial Day, for its 52nd year at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada — its largest venue yet.
Music’s biggest fan-voted awards show will be hosted by Queen Latifah, who previously co-hosted the event over 30 years ago. The celebration of music will honor not only the most influential artists and songs of today, but also recognize veterans who served in the military through special in-show moments.

Is BTS performing at AMAs 2026?
The 52nd American Music Awards will feature a special live appearance by K-Pop sensation and 11-time AMA-winning group BTS, however no additional details have been shared.
The Korean group was the first to perform at the awards show, according to the AMAs, making its U.S. television performance debut at the 2017 American Music Awards.
BTS is also nominated for three awards this year: Artist of the Year, Song of the Summer, and Best Male K-Pop Artist.
