How many Jacksonville Jaguars players were mentioned in Jeremy Fowler’s rankings of the top players at each respective position group?
What makes Fowler’s rankings unique is that they are constructed with the input of 70 NFL execs, coaches, and scouts as the voters. Other elements, such as research, interviews, and film analysis by Matt Bowen, factor in as well.
With all that taken into account, Fowler then compiles the top 10, highlights a few honorable mentions, and notes which players received votes.
In total, eight Jaguars players were mentioned, but none were listed inside the top 10 of their units, despite Jacksonville putting together a 13-4 season in 2025.
Here’s a look at which players were highlighted and where they landed.
CB Travis Hunter (receiving votes)
Hunter landing on this list, considering the very small sample size we saw of him at cornerback, is quite impressive.
DE Josh Hines-Allen (Honorable Mention)
Hines-Allen was among the top pressure getters at his position last season. Converting more of those opportunities to sacks likely gets him more top 10 votes.
DE Travon Walker (receiving votes)
Injuries were an unfortunate part of Walker’s 2025 season, but he’s proven to be a still-ascending player who has a very well-rounded skill set.
TE Brenton Strange (receiving votes)
Strange brings a reliable presence to the passing game and a do-it-all skill set to the position that opens up the playbook for Coen.
QB Trevor Lawrence (Honorable Mention)
Lawrence was an MVP finalist last season and was one of the more productive quarterbacks down the stretch, during the team’s winning streak to end the 2025 regular season. The offense as a whole was red-hot as well, averaging almost 33 points per game.
LB Foye Oluokun (receiving votes)
A very steady presence in the middle of the Jaguars’ defense. Liam Coen noted during offseason programs how Oluokun took a step forward last year as a coverage defender.
S Antonio Johnson (receiving votes)
Johnson put together a breakout season in 2025, showcasing impressive ball production. He also gives Anthony Campanile a lot of flexibility to move him around with his versatility.
WR Brian Thomas Jr. (receiving votes)
Last season was a down year for Thomas, but he still has plenty of upside and remains a real threat in the downfield passing game. He put together a very good performance during offseason programs.
