3 Sleepers on the Buccaneers offense to watch during training camp

The Bucs will be kicking off training camp on Wednesday when all the players who have reported hit the field. When they do that, there will be a handful of players on each side of the ball who deserve your attention. Right now, we are focusing on the offensive side of things.

Sean Tucker, Running Back

Now entering his third season, Tucker is a name that continues to linger just below the radar. After going undrafted in 2023 due to medical concerns and missing chunks of his rookie year, he flashed occasional burst behind the line in limited 2024 action. Heading into 2025, he’s healthier, more experienced, and competing for a depth role behind Rachaad White and Bucky Irving. He’s a candidate for third-down work or short-yardage reps if he shows consistency in camp, and he could be a key contributor on special teams.

Rakim Jarrett, Wide Receiver

Jarrett signed as an undrafted free agent in 2023 and enters 2025 on the fringe of the roster again, but with a bit more polish. Coaches love his straight-line speed and open-field acceleration. With a packed receiver room, Jarrett is likely battling for the sixth spot or a return specialist role, but one strong preseason performance could flip the narrative.

Ko Kieft, Tight End

The 2022 sixth-round pick has become a familiar face on special teams and heavy sets. While his stat lines are quiet, Kieft’s value as a blocker and tone-setter in short-yardage situations can’t be overlooked. With a tight end room that lacks a true fullback-type, he could stick as the fourth tight end if the Bucs go heavy or look to keep their run game physical.
