It’s that time of year when lights are twinkling in bright red, green and gold and beckoning you and your loved ones to come out and appreciate.
Numerous homes in neighborhoods from Shasta Lake to Redding to Cottonwood are spreading that holiday cheer with light displays that are sure to dazzle your eyes.
Use our map to help you plan out your tour of Christmas lights and decorations one of these nights in December. Read over some of the descriptions.

Many of the homes listed competed in the 41st annual Shasta Association of Realtors’ Christmas lights and decorating contests. Lucerne Court in Redding once again took the prize for Best Street.
In the Individual Home contests, 3345 Bridger Drive (first), 1896 Trumpet Drive (second) and 5886 Old Barn Way (third) received the judges’ nod for Best Classical. For Best Contemporary, it was 3991 Merrywood Drive (first), 2499 El Verano (second) and 11388 Menlo Way (third).
