After some wheeling and dealing in free agency, the Chargers’ roster for the 2026 season is taking shape. However, some positions still need to be addressed in the upcoming draft.
You can make the argument for a few positions that they could go in Round 1, but oddsmakers believe that Los Angeles will go defensive line or edge defender room with the No. 22 overall selection, coming in with -120 odds, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
If you bet $120 and the Chargers take a player at the position, you will profit an additional $100.
After Odafe Oweh walked in free agency, the Bolts are looking for a long-term successor to Khalil Mack and a complement to Tuli Tuipulotu for the foreseeable future. They’ve been linked to names like Akheem Mesidor (Miami), TJ Parker (Clemson), and Keldric Faulk (Auburn), among others.
The Chargers’ defensive tackle room looks good on paper. However, the position rooms lack pass-rush juice, and getting a blue-chip player would help first-time NFL defensive coordinator Chris O’Leary. They’ve been connected to Peter Woods (Clemson) and Caleb Banks (Florida).
