Brandin Podziemski talks possible contract extension with Warriors

In his third NBA season, Brandin Podziemski had a solid year for Golden State.

Podziemski played in all 82 games for the first time in his career and averaged a career-best 13.8 points to go along with 5.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists.

He also shot a career-high 45.5% from the field on 10.6 attempts per game.

Following Golden State’s loss to the Phoenix Suns, Podziemski spoke about a possible contract extension this summer.

“I want to be here for the long term,” said Podziemski. “Hopefully we can get something done.”

Currently on his rookie deal, Podziemski will reach restricted free agency ahead of the 2027-28 season.
