Warriors forward Draymond Green talks Kevin Hart roast appearance

NBA fans were shocked to turn on Netflix and find Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green at “The Roast of Kevin Hart.”

Although Green isn’t a comedian, he was a part of a panel of roasters that included another athlete, seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady.

Green addressed the appearance recently on his podcast, “The Draymond Green Show,” and spoke about all the boos he received.

“The one thing comedians don’t want is to be booed,” said Green. “I’m getting booed before I started. Thankfully, I get booed in every arena I go into, so it was nothing.”

“It was beautiful (booing), and so I had to get through that number one, and then I had to get through with my jokes. But it was amazing.”

With the roast taking place in Los Angeles, Green wasn’t too popular after ending the Clippers’ playoff hopes with an NBA Play-In Tournament victory.
