Victorville traffic signal to undergo upgrade, four-way flash planned

A traffic signal on busy Bear Valley Road in Victorville will be temporarily set to four-way flash mode during an upgrade project scheduled this week.

Traffic signal cabinet and wire replacement will force the traffic signal flash mode between 3 a.m and 3:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, May 12, at the intersection of Bear Valley Road and 5th Avenue.

The area is near the Food 4 Less shopping center in Victorville.

Temporary traffic control and stop signs will be in place, and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible. Delays are to be expected, city officials said.
