“The victim arranged to meet an unknown subject to sell jewelry online,” agency spokeswoman Socorro Cuevas said.

Several men described as thin and wearing all black clothing arrived at the home armed with guns, she said.

“During the encounter, the suspects stole the victim’s jewelry and fled the area prior to deputies arriving on scene,” according to Cuevas. No injuries were reported.

The stolen jewelry was valued at about $5,000, officials added.

No further details were available.
