The Detroit Tigers are in a rain delay.
First pitch between the Tigers and Cleveland Guardians on Monday, May 18, has been delayed due to inclement weather at Comerica Park. The opener of the four-game series was supposed to begin at 6:40 p.m., but it won’t start on time because of rain.
There isn’t a new start time yet.
Left-hander Framber Valdez is scheduled to start for the Tigers.
