A 25-year-old Victorville man died after he was struck by two vehicles in Highland on Monday night, officials said.
Courtney Lewis was killed in the series of collision was first reported about 11 p.m. at 5th Street and Church Avenue, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

“Upon arrival, deputies and medical personnel located a male who was unresponsive and lying in the westbound lanes of 5th Street, east of Church Avenue,” agency spokeswoman Gloria Orejel said.
First responders pronounced Lewis dead at the scene.
It was determined he had been hit by two cars, Orejel said. Both drivers remained at the scene.
No further details were available.
