Next month, the Big Ten will hold its annual football media days in Chicago. On Wednesday, the conference announced the list of attendees from each of its 18 schools at the event.
USC will be represented by quarterback Jayden Maiava and defensive linemen Alex VanSumeren and Jide Abasiri. The trio will be joined by head coach Lincoln Riley.
Maiava, who started his college career at UNLV, is entering his third year with the Trojans and his second full season as the starting quarterback. He has the potential to be one of the top signal callers in the country this fall.
VanSumeren, meanwhile, arrives at USC as a graduate transfer after four years at Michigan State. Abasiri is the lone member of the trio to sign with the Trojans out of high school, and is now entering his third season in the program.
USC is heading into its third season in the Big Ten. After going 7-2 in conference play and finishing in fourth place in the league standings last year, the Trojans are hoping to put together an even better campaign in 2026.
This year’s Big Ten Media Days will be held from July 28-30. USC is scheduled to go on the first day of the event.
