USC football countdown to kickoff—Alex Stadthaus in focus

The countdown to USC’s 2025 football season is officially on! The Trojans kick off their new campaign 38 days from today. You need something to help you while away the days and hours in the spring and summer. This is one way to do so. In this new series, countdown to kickoff, we will be counting down the days by highlighting a notable Trojan who wore each number. Today, we look at former USC kicker Alex Stadthaus.

Years played at USC: 2018-2022

Career highlights: Stadthaus served as USC’s kickoff specialist for the majority of his time with the Trojans. In 2021, he also attempted six field goals and 10 extra points, making all of his attempts. His career-long was a 40-yarder in a 41-34 victory over Arizona that year.

After USC: After graduating from USC, Stadthaus went down a completely different path—he got his pilot’s license. He has worked as a flight instructor since 2023 and currently serves as the chief pilot at Harmony Air in Nashville, per his LinkedIn page.
