Comment: The first-place Highlanders are undefeated against local opposition and have outscored the rest of the Coastal Canyon League 42-2 through four games.

2. Thousand Oaks (14-4)

Comment: The Lancers are 8-3 against local opposition, with a pair of losses by a 10-9 margin.

3. Oaks Christian (12-4)

Comment: The Lions are 6-2 against local opposition, including a 10-5 win over Calabasas on Feb. 27 to win the Easton Socal Showdown.

4. Moorpark (13-4)

Comment: The Musketeers have wins over Marmonte (Westlake, Agoura), Coastal Canyon (Oak Park), Channel (Rio Mesa), Citrus Coast (Hueneme), and Tri-Valley (Foothill Tech) opposition.

5. Calabasas (11-4)

Comment: The Coyotes are 10-1 against opponents outside the Marmonte League.

6. Westlake (8-5)

Comment: The April 1’s 5-1 home loss to Oaks Christian ended the Warriors’ 4-0 start in Marmonte League play.

7. Simi Valley (8-7)

Comment: The Pioneers went 1-2 in their spring break trip to San Diego. They haven’t played a home game since March 18.

8. Newbury Park (9-7)

Comment: The Panthers sit a game out of first place in the Marmonte League after taking three games from Oaks Christian and Thousand Oaks in their first two league series.

9. St. Bonaventure (13-5)

Comment: The Seraphs have won their first five Tri-Valley League games by a combined 73-12 margin.

10 (tie). Hueneme (9-8)

Comment: The Vikings have won nine of 11 games after an 0-6 start.

10 (tie). Santa Paula (9-7)

Comment: The Cardinals just a half-game behind first-place Hueneme in the Citrus Coast League. The teams split a two-game series on March 18 and March 20.

SOFTBALL

1. Oaks Christian (13-1)

Comment: The Lions are 6-0 against local teams.

2. Westlake (12-3-1)

Comment: The April 2 defeat to Oaks Christian was the Warriors’ first loss to a local opponent in eight games this season.

3. Simi Valley (14-4-2)

Comment: Wins over Camarillo and Oak Park give the Pioneers the early lead in the Coastal Canyon League.

4. Agoura (12-7)

Comment: The Chargers have wins over four of the five teams in the Coastal Canyon League.

5. Camarillo (11-6)

Comment: The Scorpions have wins over opponents from the Marmonte, Channel, Coastal Canyon and Tri-Valley leagues.

6. St. Bonaventure (11-4-1)

Comment: City champs? The defending CIF-SS Division 5 champion has beaten Ventura, Buena and Foothill Tech this season.

Comment: Only Channel Islands (7) has played fewer games than Moorpark (8).

8. Thousand Oaks (8-7)

Comment: The Lancers have allowed just one run during their three-game winning streak.

9. Oak Park (8-7)

Comment: The Eagles were an extra-inning loss to Simi Valley away from opening league play 3-0.

10 (tie). Oxnard (8-5)

Comment: The defending Channel League champion is within a game of first-place Dos Pueblos in the loss column.

10 (tie). Rio Mesa (8-12-1)

Comment: The Spartans are 6-7-1 against local teams, including wins over St. Bonaventure, Oxnard and Simi Valley.
