Temporary lane closures are scheduled this weekend in Victorville

Underground utility improvements will force the closure of lanes in a busy neighborhood in Victorville this weekend. 

City officials announced that the closure will occur between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14, at the intersection of Seneca and Amargosa roads.

The area is west of Interstate 15, between Civic and Roy Rogers drives. 

The intersection will be set to four-way flash and lanes will be reduced while a contractor works on the project., officials said.

A minimum of one lane will be provided in each direction, with road signage in place.

Delays should be expected, and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible.

Those driving within the vicinity of this improvement project were also urged to exercise caution.
