After propelling Indiana (5-4) to a much-needed 83-71 win over the Atlanta Dream (6-3), Caitlin Clark and the Fever travel to Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, tonight for another WNBA Commissioner’s Cup against the New York Liberty (6-4).
Despite admitting that she was feeling the effects of some form of stomach bug in Friday’s win, the fomer Hawkeye legend still had a solid all-around game by scoring 17 points, eight assists, and seven assist, and one block in a 31-minute performance from Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Friday night.
As for New York, the Liberty’s 97-82 win over the Toronto Tempo from Barclays Center on June 3 extended their winning streak to three games behind Jonquel Jones’ 22 points and 17 rebounds. Breanna Stewart is New York’s leading scorer and is off to a fantastic start ot the season by averaging 18.8 points on 43.1% shooting in 32:18 minutes per game.

For both teams, tonight will also be their second WNBA Commissioner’s Cup game of the year, with Indiana and New York each holding a 1-0 record so far.
