The Iowa girls high school soccer season is winding down, which means it’s almost time to crown a state champion in all three of the state’s classes.
On Friday, the field for the state tournament was set with 24 total teams still alive in the hunt for a title. But by the end of next week, only three will remain, having earned the state championship crown.
The tournament kicks off on Monday, June 8. The quarterfinal and semifinal rounds will be played at the Lied Recreational Fields on the campus of Iowa State University. All three finals will take place Saturday, June 13, at the Cyclone Sports Complex, the home of Iowa State’s soccer program.
Here’s a look at the 2026 Iowa state soccer tournament quarterfinal pairings and schedule for Class 1A and 2A. Class 3A’s pairings will be announced later Friday night.
Class 3A
State quarterfinals – Tuesday, June 9, at Lied Recreational Fields in Ames
State semifinals – Thursday, June 11, at Lied Recreational Fields in Ames
State championship match- Saturday, June 13, at Cyclone Sports Complex in Ames
Class 2A
State quarterfinals – Monday, June 8, at Lied Recreational Fields in Ames
