After a long waiting period to begin the summer, it’s only a matter of time until free agent forward LeBron James makes a decision on his new team. Although Golden State seemed to be on the outside looking in throughout recent weeks, sources close to the league believe the Warriors still have a strong chance to land James.
According to Front Office Sports, “Multiple Western Conference executives said they expect James to sign with the Warriors over the Cavaliers for his 24th NBA season.” This would be quite the development and would greatly increase their status as contenders in a loaded Western Conference race. If James does sign elsewhere, Golden State will be forced to add impact via the trade market.
