Highly touted quarterback Dante Moore said no to the NFL draft to further prove himself and pursue a championship at Oregon. He is a favorite to win the Heisman Trophy, partly because the weapons returning alongside him in the Ducks’ offense should make him better. This is what USC must contend with when UO visits the Coliseum this season.
The Ducks’ tight end room is a big reason for excitement in Eugene, but the Ducks’ receiver room is just as dangerous. Sophomore Dakorien Moore is a big reason for that.
In a recent article, Brad Crawford highlights Dakorien Moore as a top 15 skill position player in the country. Here is what he had to say about Moore:
“What makes Moore unique is his quick-twitch movement off the line, route polish and instant acceleration that shows up the moment the ball is snapped. He doesn’t need space to create separation — he manufactures it with sudden cuts and explosive bursts out of breaks. Moore is equally dangerous on vertical routes and quick hitters, staples of the Oregon offense that the Ducks will retain in a new era of sorts following Will Stein’s departure to Kentucky. In Oregon’s fast-paced offense, Moore is a true all-around weapon and nearly impossible to game-plan for in 2026.”
Although last season was Moore’s freshman season, he will be tasked as the top weapon this upcoming year at receiver for Dante Moore. Expect a lot of big plays from the connection of Moore to Moore this season. That duo will give the rest of the Big Ten nightmares and will be a ton of trouble for their rival, the USC Trojans.
