An intense fire tore through a mobile home and several vehicles, sending one person to the hospital, in Apple Valley on Tuesday.
The fire broke out about 11:25 a.m. on a property at Blackfoot and Columbia roads, according to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department logs.
The fire severely burned a mobile home and three vehicles at the site.
Firefighters declared it knocked down about an hour later.
One person was taken to a hospital with burns, sheriff’s department spokeswoman Amber Hutton said. An update on the victim’s condition was not available.
The fire was initially believed to have originated with burning trash on the property, Hutton said.
Utility crews and San Bernardino County Animal Care officials also responded to the scene.
No further details were available as the investigation continued.
