NFL world reacts to Chargers' trade for OL Trevor Penning

At the very last minute before the NFL trade deadline, general manager Joe Hortiz addressed the offensive line by trading with the Saints for Trevor Penning, sending away a 2027 sixth-round pick. Penning brings versatility to the team, with starts at left tackle, left guard and right tackle in his professional career. He is likely to fill in and protect quarterback Justin Herbert’s blindside, however.
