Detroit Lions fans react to no deal on 2025 NFL trade deadline day

The Detroit Lions had positional needs ahead of the 2025 NFL trade deadline, but they did not make any trades to address them.

As predicted by Detroit coach Dan Campbell in a Monday news conference, the Lions did not make any deals during the most active two days of trading in the NFL regular season, choosing instead to stay with the roster they have.

The moves the Lions made on deadline day were footnotes: releasing tight end Kenny Yeboah and offensive lineman Justin Herron, along with reportedly signing offensive lineman Jack Conley to the practice squad.

But considering the multitude of injuries the team is facing along their offensive line and among their defensive backs, the lack of movement seems to have frustrated some fans.
