Let’s hope the sun is out and the mercury is rising on Wednesday because it’s going to be a hectic day packed with intriguing matchups. Iona Prep is heading to Chaminade. Ridgefield, Connecticut is coming to Somers. Yorktown and Greeley are meeting for the first time since their Section 1 Class B showdown last spring. Byram Hills, which is undefeated, is at home against Pleasantville, which is the biggest test so far for the Bobcats.
And it’s probably time to keep an eye on Blind Brook and Tyler Taerstein, who is 36 points away from breaking the Section 1 career scoring record. The Trojans are hosting Dobbs Ferry on Wednesday.
