Michael Jordan shares heartfelt moment with former teammate Steve Kerr

In a recent article written by Wright Thompson of ESPN, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr recently ran into his former teammate Michael Jordan and the two shared a heartfelt moment.

Kerr and Jordan played together as teammates with the Chicago Bulls for four seasons, winning three NBA Championships together.

In his article, Thompson wrote that both Kerr and Jordan literally bumped into each other, rounding the corner of a hotel. Afterward, the two stop to acknowledge one another.

“Thank you,” Kerr said to Jordan. “Everything that has happened in my career is because of playing with you.”

“You’ve earned it,” Jordan told him. “You’ve earned all of it.”

Although Jordan has been away from the game since selling his majority stake of the Charlotte Hornets in 2023, his kind words to Kerr have to have meant a lot, especially considering all that the 12-year head coach has accomplished.

After earning five championships as a player, Kerr has amassed over 600 wins as a coach, while earning four more NBA titles.
