SpaceX is off to a fast start in 2026 from California, launching its Falcon 9 rocket six times in the month of January.
And even though February is the shortest month of the year, billionaire Elon Musk’s commercial spaceflight company could be on track for even more missions in the weeks ahead from the Vandenberg Space Force Base.

A whopping four SpaceX rocket launches – all Starlink satellite deployments – are already on the calendar for the first half of February, including two within the next week in Santa Barbara County.
Californians – and even Arizonans – making their plans to watch any launches should keep in mind that lots can change between now and when each rocket is expected to lift off, as delays in spaceflight are common. Be sure to visit VC Star for the latest mission updates.
In the meantime, here’s your weekly look at the upcoming launch schedule at the Vandenberg Space Force Base in Santa Barbara County.
Monday, Feb. 2: Starlink 17-32
Friday, Feb. 6: Starlink 17-33
