The Anderson Union High School District will hold a special meeting of the Board of Trustees at 6 p.m. on Monday at the Anderson Union High School Library.
The special meeting comes just five days after the last regularly scheduled meeting on April 15, when the Board approved two new hires for West Valley athletics; however, trustees split the vote on whether to approve current principal Justin Byxbe as the next head girls volleyball coach, and no decision was made on the matter.

The agenda posted on the District’s website lists one action item up for vote — a recommendation to hire Byxbe as the next West Valley girls volleyball coach.
Byxbe requested to step down from his role as principal earlier this year, and the district announced current assistant principal Niki Simonsen as Byxbe’s successor last week.
