Desert Hot Springs police are searching for a driver who struck a pedestrian with their car and then fled the scene on Tuesday, July 21.
Police Chief Steven Shaw said paramedics took the pedestrian, who had serious injuries, to the hospital. He did not have an update on the pedestrian’s condition.
The collision occurred in the 12-700 block of Palm Drive around 10 p.m. Investigators were working on identifying the driver, Shaw added on Wednesday, July 22.
Police did not provide a description of the vehicle or driver.
