The spring season continues as teams draw closer to playoff competition.
Eastern and Northern Athletic League baseball teams will square off, with Shasta and Pleasant Valley highlighting this week’s action. The Wolves and Vikings both own top 10 spots in the section rankings and share nearly identical records.
Michigan State softball commit Lily Thurman and the Pleasant Valley Vikings will travel to Palo Cedro to face off against the Cougars, highlighting softball action this week. Thurman leads the section with 12 homers, but she’ll be facing a talented pitching and defensive squad in the Cougars.
Boys volleyball, golf and tennis and track and field teams will also be in action this week. See the top sports games of the week for April 20-26.
