Jardine & The Pet Sounds Band at The Plaza Theatre

Rock: The Beach Boys defined American rock ‘n’ roll during the 1960s and created what became the signature California sound. But the band surprised its audience in 1966 with the album “Pet Sounds,” which was written, produced, and arranged by the late Beach Boys co-founder, Brian Wilson. Songs such as “You Still Believe In Me,” “I Just Wasn’t Made for These Times,” and “God Only Knows” were a departure from the band’s previous hits about surfing, teen romance, high school life, and other pop themes.

Following the death of Wilson in 2025, Jardine reassembled Wilson’s band as the Pet Sounds Band and has continued to tour, performing Wilson’s music, and selections from The Beach Boys’ mid-to-late 70’s catalog of albums, including “15 Big Ones,” “The Beach Boys Love You,” and “M.I.U. Album.”

During an April interview with AirMail, he described driving electric cars as a “big, stupid virtue signal” while discussing his interests in classic cars and his collection of rare Porsches.

Seinfeld will perform on Saturday at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa.
