Motorists may encounter traffic controls and delays when driving on a portion of Eastside Road between Wilsey Drive and North Bonnyview Road, on Wednesday, May 20.
Redding Public Works announced crews will do water utility construction and repairs on existing infrastructure in the area.
Eastside Road traffic will face lane closures and detours during the construction, the city said.

Motorists advised to use caution when approaching the construction area or to avoid it when possible, the city said. Emergency services vehicles will have access, but other vehicles won’t.
