Drake London and Michael Pittman Jr. will meet in NFL Week 13

Former USC teammates Michael Pittman Jr. and Drake London have had many things in common in their NFL careers. Both receivers have shown they can play like a top receiver in the league, even without quarterback stability. Michael Pittman Jr. has been dealt a better hand this season, as he gets a 42-year-old Rodgers to throw him the football. Ironically, that is a better situation than what London has to deal with in Atlanta.

Both talented receivers will face each other on Sunday Night Football in Week 13. Their quarterbacks may not deliver a performance, but one thing is for certain: both guys will make big plays.

Michael Pittman Jr. now joins forces with D.K. Metcalf. Pittman Jr. and Metcalf will form one of the better receiver duos in the league, which will make things easier on Aaron Rodgers. The Steelers’ offense will make it very challenging for the Falcons’ defense in this matchup.

The Falcons’ offense will face a challenge in this game, both against the Steelers’ offense and their elite defense. Regardless of which quarterback gets the start, their main objective should be to give Drake London the football. That really has been the story of this offense since London’s arrival. The same goes for their other playmakers. If their best guys get the ball, their offense is tough to stop.

This game could shape up with both former Trojan receivers having big games. Aaron Rodgers tends to love targeting a weapon like Pittman Jr., would not be surprised if he has a big game. If the Falcons win, it will be because Drake London had a big game. This game will also showcase why the Trojans should remain viewed as the top institution for receivers.
