Pulaski soccer player and team captain Ruth Krause was last week’s winner, receiving 34,102 votes.
She is the fourth Pulaski athlete to win the poll during the 2025-26 school year, joining Parker Marshall, Conrad Kreutzberg and Jack Falk.
Ashwaubenon baseball player Nolan Vertz was runner-up with 25,576 votes, while Green Bay Notre Dame softball player Olivia Waldrop received 3,143 votes.
All six athletes in the poll had more than 1,100 votes each.
Here are this week’s nominees. Be sure to vote in the poll below
Dylan Clark, Oconto Falls golf
The sophomore was the individual medalist at the North Eastern Conference Championship at Brown County Golf Course, shooting a 73 and finishing at least two strokes ahead of the rest of the field.
Clark led the Panthers to the team title. They shot 329, six strokes better than runner-up Little Chute.
Brady Hayward, Pulaski golf
The senior is a contender for the second time this spring, and for good reason.
He earned individual medalist honors at the Fox River Classic Conference Championship at Wander Springs Golf Course, shooting a 75 and beating Sheboygan North’s Nolan TenPas and Bay Port’s Connor Ness by one stroke.
Hayward tied for 17th at the WIAA Division 1 state meet last season, which was the best finish by any local D1 golfer.
Charlee King, Green Bay Notre Dame soccer
The standout defender and St. Catherine University commit did her usual part in helping the Tritons go 1-0-1 with two shutouts.
But she also had an opportunity to shine with a career-high four goals in a win over Green Bay Southwest, all on corner kicks by fellow senior Teya Bordini.
It certainly was a memorable moment, or four, for the duo on Senior Night.
Sawyer Overly, Ashwaubenon girls soccer
The Jaguars couldn’t score a goal against one of the best teams in the FRCC, but they still walked away with a tie thanks in part to their sophomore keeper.
Overly made 23 saves in the match against De Pere, which had not been blanked by any FRCC squad this season.
She also helped Ashwaubenon beat West De Pere in a 2-1 win earlier in the week.
Overly has made 209 saves in 2026.
Nolan Sell, West De Pere baseball
The senior right-hander and University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point commit played a pivotal role in handing Bay Port its first loss in the FRCC.
Sell allowed one run and four hits in seven innings while striking out seven.
It was just the second time this season the Pirates were held to one or zero runs and the first time against a team from the state. They lost 7-0 to Lightridge (Virginia) in April.
Sell entered this week 3-0 with a 2.66 earned-run average.
Caden Steffens, Seymour baseball
The junior helped the Thunder go 3-1.
Steffens went a combined 6-for-10 in the four games. He had seven runs, three RBI, two triples, a double and two walks.
His most notable game came in the first win of a doubleheader sweep over Green Bay East in which he went 3-for-3 with two RBI and four runs while pitching two innings and striking out four.
Steffens leads the Thunder with four triples this season.
Vanny Umentum, Denmark softball
The junior helped lead the Vikings to a 2-1 week, including wins over FRCC teams in Ashwaubenon and De Pere.
Umentum had a huge game against the Redbirds, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and five RBIs.
It was the second time this month she had four or more RBIs in a game.
