Rams players reveal which games they're most excited for in 2026

The Los Angeles Rams’ schedule is so jampacked with intriguing matchups that it’s hard to pick one game to be most excited for. That’s what players were tasked with doing recently when the Rams asked them which game they can’t wait to play in.

Trent McDuffie, Kyren Williams and Davante Adams were among those featured in the video shared by the team, and their answers were interesting, to say the least.

Trent McDuffie: “Chiefs, Thursday Night Football.”

McDuffie was traded from the Chiefs to the Rams this offseason, so it’s not surprising he wants to face his former team – though we don’t know if it’s because he’s excited to see his old teammates or because he wants revenge.

Kyren Williams: “Christmas Day, December 25th, you know what’s going on.”

Hmm, who do the Rams play on Christmas this year? The defending Super Bowl champs. The Seattle Seahawks knocked out the Rams in the NFC title game last season, so Williams is looking to avenge that loss.

Davante Adams: “The first one. Gotta be locked in for the first game, then we’ll get to the next after that.”

A classic veteran answer from the future Hall of Famer.

A lot of other players can’t wait to go to Australia, but not specifically to face the 49ers. They just want to experience the culture down under.

Quentin Lake: “I mean, we’ve got a lot of tough opponents on the schedule. A lot of people that see us as a challenge. But I think going to Australia is going to be awesome, so we’ll see everybody down under.”

Puka Nacua: “Ooo, Australia, for sure. I’m excited to go. I’m going to try something new out there. I’m not a big fan of trying something new, but we’re in Australia, so might as well.”

Larrell Murchison: “I can’t wait to go to Australia. I think that’s going to be a favorite one, for sure. I want to see a kangaroo, so cool with that.”

Tyler Davis: “I’ll say the first one, to open them. Australia. Down under.”

The Rams’ matchups with the Seahawks were also popular among players, for obvious reasons. They all want to get back at their rivals for their two losses last season.

That includes Ethan Evans and Blake Corum, in addition to Williams.

Ethan Evans: “Any of the Seahawks games. Mhm. Oh yeah.”

Blake Corum: “Need our get back. Seattle. Home or away. I’m looking forward to both of them.”

Jared Verse, unsurprisingly, is excited about all 17 of the Rams’ games, because he’s a football junkie and all-out competitor. Same with Coleman Shelton.

Jared Verse: “All of ‘em. All 17.”

Coleman Shelton: “All of them. I love playing ball.”

Steve Avila grabbed the mic (like always) and picked the Chiefs as his most anticipated game. He also reminded everyone how young he is by saying the Chiefs were “on a run” while he was growing up.

Steve Avila: “The Chiefs. The Chiefs. Growing up, Chiefs were on a run. Now, get a chance to go against them. It’ll be a good game.”

There are a lot of worthy choices, and plenty of games that should be circled on the calendar. But those matchups with the Seahawks in Weeks 16 and 18 might be the biggest of any games in the NFL this year.
