Following Michigan’s Yaxel Lendeborg visit to the Bay Area last week, the Golden State Warriors reportedly aren’t done working out some of the top prospects in the upcoming draft class before next week’s 2026 NBA Draft. It’s been reported that Arizona’s Brayden Burries will be one of the prospects working out for the Warriors, but he won’t be alone.
According to Anthony Slater of ESPN, Burries will be joined by Alabama guard Labaron Philon Jr. and Washington big man Hannes Steinbach for a workout in the Bay Area on Thursday.

Philon Jr. played two seasons in Alabama’s high-powered offense under Nate Oats. As a sophomore, Philon Jr. earned All-SEC honors, averaging 22 points on 50.1% shooting from the field. The 6-foot-4 guard added five assists and 3.5 rebounds per contest for the Crimson Tide.
Philon Jr. shot nearly 40% from beyond the arc on 6.2 3-point attempts per contest. In the Sweet 16, Philon Jr. drilled a season-best six 3-pointers against Michigan.
Along with Philon Jr. and Burries, Washington big man Hannes Steinbach will reportedly also be in attendance in the Bay Area for a pre-draft workout. In one season in Seattle, Steinbach stuffed the box score, averaging a double-double with 18.5 points and 11.8 rebounds per game. Steinbach added 1.6 asssists, 1.2 blocks and 1.1 steals in 30 games for the Huskies last season. Against UCLA, Steinbach notched a career-high 29 points on a nearly-perfect 11-of-12 shooting from the field. Steinbach finished the season with 22 double-doubles, setting a Big-10 freshman record. Steinbach finished the season leading the country in double-doubles.
The first round of the NBA draft is set for Tuesday, June 23 in Brooklyn, New York.
