San Antonio Spurs point guard De’Aaron Fox spoke to the media recently about what it’s like playing with such an impact player like Victor Wembanyama.
In his answer, the longtime Sacramento King praised Stephen Curry, comparing Wembanyama’s effect to the two-time MVP.
“It’s like no one else. I mean, between probably him (Wembanyama) and Steph, like, those are the only guys that you see that have the type of gravity that they have, and it’s amazing to play with.”
After seven and a half seasons in Sacramento, Fox just finished his first full regular season with the Spurs.
That said, Fox spent plenty of time battling Curry as the two faced off in the 2022-23 playoffs and the 2023-24 Play-In Tournament.
Now enjoying his most successful stint with the Spurs, Fox will be searching for his first NBA title this summer.
