Chargers set to make NFL history, but not in any way you would expect

The Chargers are going to make NFL history, but it’s probably not in a way you’re expecting them to.

Los Angeles is set to travel the most miles of any NFL team this upcoming season (37,086 miles), which is also the most for any team in NFL history. It is also more mileage than all but three MLB teams travel this year, according to Bookies.com.

One of the reasons why the Bolts will be spending a lot of time in the air is their trip to Brazil to open up the regular season. They’ll travel across 42 time zones this season, as well.

Last season, the Chargers also traveled the most among all NFL teams (26,803 miles).

Los Angeles will have cross-country trips to Miami, New York, Jacksonville, and Tennessee throughout the year.
