Two car shows are scheduled this weekend in the High Desert, including the 13th Annual Car Show & Vendor Fair hosted by The Whosoevers Car Club.
The Whosoevers will set up shop from noon to 4 p.m. on May 9, at The Church For Whosoever at 18628 Seneca Road in Apple Valley.
The free car show will include food, merchant vendors, Christian music artists and a lineup of classic cars and vehicles.
There will be several raffle drawings and a 50/50 raffle, with the proceeds helping fund the church’s mission trip to Ensenada, Mexico.

Route 66 Car Show
The High Desert Car Club Council will celebrate the centennial of Old Route 66 during its “Mother Road” car show in Helendale.
The car show is scheduled from 1 to 5 p.m. on May 9, at Helendale Community Park at 15425 Wild Road.
Proceeds from the car show will benefit local charities, according to organizers.
After the car show, visitors are invited to stay for a concert at 6 p.m., with the Top 40 band Radio Ready performing. There will also be food vendors and a beer garden.
