Caleb Williams’ NFL future could be very exciting. Many quarterbacks, including the ones in the NFC North, have already shown what they are at their peak. The Bears had a special season last year, and Caleb Williams’ ceiling is still to be determined. He could grow even more than what many think.
In a recent article, Vincent Paris discusses why Caleb Williams’ ceiling is the highest among NFC North quarterbacks. Here is what he had to say:
“Goff and Love are incredible players. Each of them is more than capable of not only winning the division but also achieving all the gaudy statistics expected of Williams. What separates Williams from them going into his third season is the fact that his highest potential has yet to be unlocked, and he still may already be better than them. If Williams improves by even 10%, it won’t even be a discussion.
We pretty much know what Goff and Love are at this point; both are great players. But Williams’ ceiling is higher than what they are right now. By the end of the season, there should be no doubt left.”
Caleb Williams showed what the Bears look like with great quarterback play and a franchise-level quarterback in just his second season. He has many things he can improve on still, and last season, he and Ben Johnson were still figuring things out. Still getting success in year 1 of the duo together is encouraging. This upcoming season and the future will be nothing but bright for a talent like Caleb Williams. It is a safe assumption that his ceiling exceeds that of his competitors in the North.
