Firefighters responding to the incident encountered Wilson inside the burned vessel, sheriff’s department spokeswoman Jenny Smith said.

Coroner’s investigators ruled the death to be accidental, but a specific cause of death was yet to be determined, she said.

Smith said that Wilson was “known to hang out” on the boat.

No further details regarding the cause of the fire were available.
