Amon- Ra St. Brown was a star at USC. Since his entry into the NFL and the Detroit Lions organization, he has been even better. He has established himself as a top NFL receiver on a consistent basis. He is on pace to match a franchise legend and Hall of Famer.
In a recent article, Jeremy Fowler analyzed St. Brown’s success during his tenure with the Detroit Lions:
“St. Brown’s 582 yards after catch in 2025 were third among all receivers. And the Lions wideout is the only player with at least 1,000 receiving yards and 10 touchdown catches in each of the past three seasons. He’s also the only player to record such a streak in Lions franchise history. Only Hall of Famer Calvin Johnson (four) has more overall.”
After Calvin Johnson’s dominant run in Detroit came to a close, who would have thought a player from USC, 5 inches shorter, would be similarly dominant? St. Brown is not the same size as Megatron yet, but he maximizes his skillset to the fullest to make him the next great Lions receiver. St. Brown does not win with his size, like Megatron, yet he wins with everything else.
