A 22-year-old Tracy man killed in a May multi-vehicle collision has been identified by the San Joaquin County Medical Examiner’s Office said.
Joshua Franco-Magallon died in a car wreck on May 26, near the intersection of Tracy Boulevard and Grant Line Road.
Witnesses from the scene reported that one of the vehicles was fully engulfed in flames and that the occupants of the vehicles involved were trapped inside.
When officers arrived at the scene, they worked to extract the driver, Franco-Magallon, from the vehicle that was on fire, police said.
Officers provided medical aid to Franco-Magallon until paramedics arrived. Police said due to his injuries suffered in the crash he died at the scene.
The second vehicle carried a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, who are from Tracy. They were taken taken to a hospital with major injuries, according to police.
